Counselling and Mental Health Service

The Service aims to help you with any personal issues affecting work, self-esteem, relationships, sexuality, mental health and general wellbeing and is available to all students and staff.

You’ll find different materials, workshops and recommended readings on mindfulness and how to enjoy a healthy student experience.

The Service also runs regular workshops on topics such as managing stress and anxiety.

Wellbeing rooms

The University has several wellbeing rooms across campus, which you can take advantage of by joining the 'Be Active' class programme and counselling workshops. Rooms are also available for you to relax.

The programme varies depending on the semester and resources available, but examples of the activities running all year are: yoga, Zumba, pilates, belly dancing, kettlebell conditioning and Tai Chi ball.
