Receiving an Offer

When we have allocated you to a room in a University residence we will send you an offer of that room for you to consider.

The offer of accommodation will be sent to you via the email address you have provided. You will need to ensure that the address provided is correct and if your email address changes please inform the Accommodation Office by email as quickly as possible.

We also advise that you regularly check your junk mail folder as there have been instances where the junk filters on certain email accounts have not allowed our offer of accommodation through.

You run the risk of losing your offer of accommodation if you do not reply within a specified timescale so it is very important that you access your offer as soon as it is sent to you.

So in summary, to ensure you avoid some of the difficulties experienced by students please:

  • Make sure your email address is valid for the whole period between your application and your arrival
  • Regularly check your emails or if you are away on holiday and unable to access your email make sure someone does so on your behalf
  • Check your junk mail folders for any filtered mail
