Whether you have a career goal in mind or you’re not sure what you want to do next, The Careers Service can provide advice and support in finding employment, work experience or further study opportunities. Based in the Atrium in University Place, the Careers team are on hand to give tips and guidance and to help you with every stage of the job application process, from CVs and application forms to psychometric tests and assessment centres. Visit the website for a whole host of useful resources, with advice about how to secure that all-important work experience and tips on networking, as well as ways to improve your CV.

Managing Your Finances

The Student Support and Advice Team at the University offers a wide range of services, including guidance on managing your money and successful budgeting. We have created a variety of online resources to help you proactively make the most of your money which is full of top tips and links to websites that can help you save cash wherever possible. We are also excited to introduce a new online, interactive financial education toolkit in partnership with Blackbullion, which will help you both now and in the future – both financially and professionally!
